Compared to the dark and experimental Vroom Vroom EP, Charli is a little more grounded in conventional pop on the Number 1 Angel mixtape, though the bubblegum bass of that EP is still present here.

Number 1 Angel can get a bit repetitive throughout its runtime and it does feel a but regressive from Vroom Vroom, but tracks like Dreamer, Blame It on U and ILY2 are all solid pop songs with fantastic production.
